Broken Home

I would like to think of a relationship & its foundation as a circle. You & your partner are each represented by half of this circle. Idealistically speaking, before forming this union together; you are your own whole circle. Therefore, you’ve done the WORK required for yourself. As adults we know if we aren’t “Good” alone, we can’t possibly be “good” alongside anyone else. Stepping into a union, you basically smash your circle with another. We are in this “100%”, it’s OUR relationship, I bring my half & you bring yours. Hopefully, we form properly to then go on and create such harmony of life together. ( ie. kids, businesses.) If not, that too should be perfectly fine.

This brings me to explain a bit further as to why it is detrimental to a child’s health, cognitive skills, overall growth; when the house is not a HOME. Under many circumstances, it may be healthier to raise a child in separate homes as opposed to chaos under one roof. This would only be because two adults cannot simply do the “Work” and FIX whatever. resentment/problem(s) at hand.

The word “toxic” is so overrated yet so relevant. From child’s play to the simple lack of communication whilst remaining in that relationship, is simply toxic. The difficulty level of taking care of a child supersedes extreme when two parents are not on the same page. In life, parenting, and mainly; the RELATIONSHIP. FIX it, and if the child is your only reason as to why you feel you should fix it, sounds like one should consider leaving it.

I would much rather raise my child alone to ensure I’m doing what I need to do for that child. It screams “Peaceful”, yet & still difficult, choose your child always. Opposed to staying in a “TOXIC” relationship causing any child to feel and/or hear negativity, screaming, or just pure chaos. Whether weekly, daily or whatever, it shouldn’t be a thing at all.
