You’re granted one do-over
If you could get a do-over, what part of life would it be?
Life and the challenges we face, some more often than others, but even still. Such devastations whether major or trivial, all are topped off with a life lesson. I am aware that wanting a do-over will alter everything thereafter. Which makes it that much more difficult for me to choose.
Timing is everything, and as it pertains to my studies, I would change the time I choose to go to college. Back in 2010, I attended Herkimer County Community College. Happy as ever to finally reach the next level and LEAVE MY MOTHER’S HOUSE. I admit, the wrong mindset to have, especially as my main focus.
You see I felt tied down, like some of our parents tend to make us feel. As a new mom, it’s transparent as far as why there was so much hovering; concerned love.
But hey, let me not stray away as I did from “HERK”.
My mentality has matured and I am now ready to finish what I started more than 10 years ago. The major is different and so is the drive. My eagerness to learn and apply it to the world has always been on my agenda.
And now,
hat passion has grown, matured, and gained importance. That same passion is now a mother with a different motive. They say “On planes and in life, parents need to secure their own air masks first.” This is true, and yet, a great mom will do anything for their child.
