Our purpose has everything to do with why we’re here. Our purpose is not selfish nor self-serving, awkward but it isn’t for you at all. “We did not plan to be here, but we must make a plan while we are here in order to LIVE.” Our purpose directly affects another person(s) life, it’s of a service that we are here to provide. No matter where you may decide to work, you are providing some type of service to someone. Actually in alliance with another being’s reality because now you are a part of the “goal” they worked so hard to achieve. Don’t get me wrong, some people love to serve in that fashion. I hate to think of it as having a 9–5, and providing excellent customer service for a company that provides insurance on my life; if that. That’s exactly how I think of it.
I’m speaking & connecting with those that seek more out of life. Those who seek change & want to be exactly that. I write for the ones who never settle, & are always on “GO” when it comes to the bag; WITH no limits. The bottom line, your purpose is bigger than you.
Take time to get to know yourself better.
What do you like and dislike? What gives you that adrenaline rush? Or butterflies? What gives you a thrill? Trivial but important things I can mention are; the thrill video games may give someone, or the excitement one may have while doing hair. Maybe teaching a kid and witnessing that child utilize what you’ve taught them to better themselves down the road. Whatever it is, I can guarantee it’s much easier to at least get into the realm of it. At least put yourself on the right track by starting. It’s fine to fail the first time. Shit, it’s fine to fail thrice. LEARN, LEARN, & LEARN some more, about what you like and don’t.
I’m thankful for my childhood, I’m thankful for my mother, my grandparents, my nana, etc. I’m thankful that I wasn’t “stuck on the block”, & just wanted to be there. I’m thankful I was active/involved in an array of activities. From molding and painting ceramics to several styles of dancing, drama, acting, modeling, sewing, crochet, gymnastics, track, basketball, softball, pool, swimming, skiing & a lot more. Whether I was directly put into these classes, or whether it was provided while attending whichever school, I am thankful. That indeed helped me figure out what I want to do in life NOW, or at least put on the path to easily access it.
I’ve become more aware of my purpose as time went on.
One specific conversation I had with the lord, I felt like I just didn’t know wtf to do nor why things happen the way they have. He always speaks back, but this time was different. This time I gained an understanding but I felt at the moment, that I was not ready to deliver what was asked of me. I admit I was in a selfish state. Communication is always key because upon that happening, I shared it with my lover. He said to me “I think you ARE ready”, In the sexiest convincing voice. It did it for me, & this is why you must keep people around who have your best interest at heart. Hence why I’ve started to share my “thoughts” and “philosophy” with others. There’s no way I’m the only one. IMPOSSIBLE. Somebody, actually many people seek knowledge. Everything is fine really, just LEARN MORE so you can be the change for humanity.
